Pastor’s Corner: “Perspectives from Heaven”
I woke up this morning saying this prayer. I ask that you would join me. Your prayers matter!
Abba Father, we ask that the work and the love of Your Holy Spirit be multiplied, magnified and amplified, that the glory of Your beautiful Son Jesus Christ would be revealed for all to see. 2 Corinthians 9:10 (ESV) – 10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. That Your presence and resurrection power would be released to bring healing and rescue over Your land and Your people. We pray that the work and love of Your sweet Holy Spirit would overrun and overwhelm the spiritual forces of the enemy in dark places disrupting and destroying his plans. We declare Your Love and Grace has already won the victory over every plan that has ever been and ever will be conceived against Your creation and that nothing can overcome the power of Your Love displayed through the finished work on Calvary! 1 John 4:18-19 (ESV) – 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. Jesus is King and His renown is everlasting and His reign will never end, be diminished or tarnished. Lord, we lift up those on the front lines of this battle (physical and spiritual). We ask that You pour out Your mercy and grace (do for those who cannot do for themselves what only You can do) on those patients and workers in hospitals across the world bringing hope, courage and healing where there seems to be no way. We pray for the strength of our Rock Jesus Christ to fill, encourage and empower every healthcare worker putting themselves in harms way for others – we thank You for their service. Do not let their sacrifice be in vain Lord – release Your healing and salvation. Keep them and their families covered and protected as You are our strong tower and protector. We pray for Your presence to fill the minds and hearts of those who feel abandoned, lost and alone in the darkness that they would see the true reality of Your love, that they are precious and in Your sight! Psalm 139:17-18(NLT) – 17 How precious are your thoughts about me,O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! We pray that You would multiply and release creativity, wisdom and ingenuity from heaven revealing new ideas, concepts and ways to defeat this virus bringing healing and salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ for all to see! We pray that hard hearts and stubborn minds would be softened and persuaded in love. We pray that miracles for and through the Kingdom of Heaven be released and multiplied here on earth as it is in heaven by the power and authority given in the name above all names, the name of Your amazing, loving, beautiful Son Jesus Christ – to Him be the Glory forever and ever!
We thank you that You hear our prayers – 1 Peter 3:12 (NKJV) – 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Revelation 8:4-5 (AMP) – 4 And the smoke and fragrant aroma of the incense, with the prayers of the saints (God’s people), ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder and loud rumblings and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
