Beliefs

GOD – There is only one God who is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. In His unity God exists eternally as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1: 1, 26, 27, Genesis 3:22: Psalm 90.2; Matthew 28:19; 1st Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13: 14, and John 5:7

JESUS CHRIST – He is the Son of God and is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Fulfilling the Old Testament prophecy, Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on the cross and shedding His blood. He rose from the dead defeating sin and death, then ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He will return again to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1;1-5,14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3, 4; Acts 1:9-11; Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13

HOLY SPIRIT – Holy Spirit is one with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, and the accepting of the Holy Spirit into their life. He provides every Christian with power foe living, spiritual gifts for service, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. Scripture challenges all Christ’s followers to seek to be constantly filled with the Holy Spirit and to daily live under His direction. 2 Corinthians 3:17; 2 Peter 1:20,21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105., 160, Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

BIBLE – The Bible is the inspired word of God to all and is the final authority in life. It was written by human authors with the guidance of Holy Spirit and is the source of Christian beliefs. It is without error and completely trustworthy. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalms 119:105,160, Psalms 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

SALVATION BY GRACE – Salvation is a free gift from God, given to all who believe in His son Jesus Christ, and who accept Him as the Lord of their life. The death of Jesus Christ is the only sufficient payment for our sins. Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through self-improvement or good works. No sin is beyond God’s ability or willingness to forgive. Matthew 16:21-26; John 3:16-19; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:4-9; John 5:9-12
